Rhodium Plating

Rhodium is a rare, pure white metal that is highly reflective, extra hard, and resists tarnishing.  While rhodium is a costly metal, it is a relatively inexpensive way to improve the appearance of your jewelry.  Advances in technology have allowed thin layers of rhodium to be bonded with the surface of metals (known as rhodium plating).  Rhodium plating is typically done over white gold to give a brighter, newer appearance.  

If you have jewelry that has lost its luster, bring it into JF Jones Jewelers!   We will inspect, clean and apply rhodium plating to make  your jewelry radiant again.  In addition, we are more than happy to safely clean your rhodium-plated jewelry so it lasts as long as possible.   

Watch and Jewelry Repair

If you are weary about shipping your jewelry out for repairs, let us handle your repair needs in-house!  We will fix your jewelry needs including ring sizing, stone replacement, prong repair, chain and bracelet repair, and pearl restringing.  We will also repair almost any of your watch needs including battery replacement, band adjustment, clasp replacement, pin replacement, crystal replacement and more.

Inspection and Cleaning

Not sure if your jewelry is up to par? Stop in for a complimentary inspection and cleaning right while you wait.  We recommend your jewelry is inspected at least twice a year for preventative maintenance and repairs.  Fixing a prong or tightening a stone will cost a lot less than replacing a missing stone!

While most women have a 6- or 7 ring size, finding the exact measurement is simple.  Grab a ring she wears on her left ring finger and bring it to us to get measured. If the ring does end up being the wrong size, don’t worry!  We have two jewelers to perform your sizing here in house.
